Bangkok Fastening Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the "Company") recognizes the importance of and its duties under the Personal Data Protection Act. 1. Who does this policy apply to?
This policy covers the personal data of job applicants and employees of the Company, including directors, advisors, executives, current employees, former employees, interns, and other individuals, such as family members of employees or emergency contacts, who are related to the Company’s personnel.
2. Definition of Personal Data
Personal data refers to information about an individual that can identify that person, either directly or indirectly, but does not include information about deceased persons. Examples of personal data include name, surname, telephone number, address, email, ID card number, photograph, employment history, etc.
Sensitive Personal Data refers to personal data that is specifically categorized by law, such as race, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, sexual behavior, criminal records, health information, disabilities, union membership, genetic data, biometric data (e.g., fingerprints), or any other similar data specified by law. The Company will collect, use, and/or disclose sensitive personal data only with your explicit consent, or where necessary as permitted by law.
In cases where the Company receives a copy of your ID card or extracts information from your ID card electronically for the purpose of identity verification, employee information changes, requests, and/or transactions with the Company, the information may include religious data, which is considered sensitive personal data. The Company does not have a policy to collect such data.
